We are seeking three experienced IBA Technicians to join our growing team. This is a critical hire, and we are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running with deep, hands-on experience in client IBA within a wholesale broking environment.

About the Role
As a Senior IBA Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client IBA accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of outstanding items. You will work closely with premium processing teams, internal stakeholders, and front-end business units to maintain clean ledgers and support strong client relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who is experienced, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership without requiring extensive training.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a range of client IBA accounts within a wholesale broker environment
Completing end-to-end IBA processes, including:
Running client and broker statements
Chasing debt and managing overdue balances
Handling funding, unmatched cash, and cash allocation queries
Investigating and resolving aged debt/issues
Working closely with premium processing teams
Collaborating with underwriting and front-end business units
Ensuring ledgers are accurate, compliant, and well-maintained
Taking full ownership of your allocated accounts and resolving issues proactively
Essential Experience & Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a wholesale broker IBA department
Demonstrable client-side IBA experience — not finance/cashiering
Strong understanding of:
Client account handling
Debt chasing
Unmatched cash resolution
Funding processes
IBA ledger reconciliation
Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding or development support
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Important Clarifications (What This Role Is NOT)
To avoid confusion, please note:
This is not a Finance or Cashiering role
Banking, posting cash/payments, client money calculations, audits, trial balance work, or premium finance = not part of this job
We cannot consider candidates whose IBA experience is finance-based rather than client-side ledger work
Insurer IBA account handlers (typically high payment generation, low debt chasing) are not aligned with the responsibilities of this role
We require genuine client IBA specialists from a wholesale broking background.
