Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Fully Field Based - Manchester/Merseyside/Cheshire

£30k basic salary + £20k commission + Company Car

The Role:

We are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager, focussed and committed to the generation of new business to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of generating new business, a true team player, with excellent organisation and communication skills, a great sense of humour and someone who really cares!

Reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, the main duties include:

· As an ambassador of the company, to create & develop relationships with customers, ensuring them of the highest standards of account management at all times.

· Identifying and securing profitable growth for the business - meeting monthly sales targets.

· Create and develop relationships with key accounts, providing the highest standards of account management.

· Setting appointments using multiple routes of communication (CRM system, cold calling, highly targeted email, networking etc.)

· Define, present, negotiate and close agreements with new customers & partners.

You

Ideally you are able to demonstrate a track record of meeting & exceeding revenue targets

Ideally, you will have experience in selling capital equipment & service contracts in a B2B environment

Results driven, energetic, creative & hard working

Self-motivated – a person who gets things done with a proactive, flexible ‘can do’ attitude.

Gravitas and business knowledge to deal with all levels of decision makers.

Strong business acumen & professionalism, excellent customer focus, attention to detail & outstanding communication skills in all forms

Ability to ‘hit the ground running’

Good IT skills (word/Excel) and CRM programme experience would be an advantage.
