Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

£40-43k DOE

Monday - Friday 7am-4pm (some flexibility available)

Are you ready to play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing plant running smoothly? We’re seeking a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability of our machinery, equipment, and facilities. Your expertise will help us minimise downtime, maximise productivity, and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in top shape.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and structural issues.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies to ensure safety and minimise disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production and safety teams to schedule and execute maintenance efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with relevant experience working within the manufacturing sector
• Be computer literate, and have confidence in the use of systems and technology
• Excellent communication skills, both with internal stakeholders and external contractors
• Previous exposure to basic PLC’s is desirable
• Pipework/Plumbing experience is desirable
• Experience working with Hydraulic systems is advantageous
• Welding experience is advantageous
