CAD Technician

Full Time: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
21 Holidays + Bank Holidays
Salary: Dependent on experience

As a CAD Technician you will be managing a growing portfolio of projects. The CAD Technician will be taking projects from the sales team and helping to manage them through to manufacture.

Duties:

• To produce 2D CAD details
• To produce project specification proposals, test reports, site visit reports, with supplementary calculations and details
• To provide technical support to customers, clients and internal team members
• To develop, maintain and update all records, databases, CRM data and reports
• Create additional drawings on AutoCad where required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Background as a Draughtsman, CAD Technician or similar
• Ability to read and produce 2D technical drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Previous experience producing 2D drawings
• Proven experience of writing technical specifications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident telephone manner
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Good organisational and prioritising skills
• Willingness to learn
• Positive attitude
• Attention to detail
